Goodwin has an endless fascination with the City of London and its financial markets. Choosing to represent her insight with an ongoing series of fibre glass sculptures, the figures are faceless and nameless; much like the mass of institutionalised workers in the square mile. The hollow white suits lie, lean and sprawl, defining the space around them; yet at the same time disappearing into the void. The artist explains, 'The use of the colour white here is imperative. It represents respect, neutrality, space and time; but also rebirth and new beginnings. It's a blank canvas, a springboard of hope for us all.'
